I’m in my mid-30s now, and when I look back at the woman I was before coming to Restoration House Church and to the scheduled women’s meetings and annual conferences, I can honestly say I’m not the same person. God has used this community to stretch me, soften me, and grow me in ways I didn’t even know I needed.

As a Christian woman, I’ve learned how to slow down and actually listen for God instead of trying to carry everything on my own. The teachings, the conversations, and even the quiet moments of prayer with other women have helped me see myself the way He sees me.

It’s changed my marriage too. I used to feel like I had to be strong all the time, but these gatherings taught me that strength also looks like grace, patience, and choosing peace in my home. I’ve learned how to communicate with my husband in a way that builds us up instead of tearing us down. We’re not perfect, but we’re growing together, and that growth started here.

And as a mom… wow. I didn’t realize how much I was parenting from a place of exhaustion. Hearing other women share their stories reminded me that I’m not alone and that God cares about the little everyday moments I share with my kids. I’ve become more intentional, more gentle, and more present with them. I’m learning to pray with my children, not just for them.

These meetings didn’t just inspire me they equipped me. They gave me sisters, mentors, and a space where I could be honest and still be loved. I’m grateful for every lesson, every tear, every laugh, and every breakthrough. God used Restoration House Church to help me grow into the woman He always intended me to be.
